Jack Rosenthal
Regional Transportation District (RTD) Board Candidate, Greater Denver Metro Area, CO
A lifelong Coloradan, climate advocate, and daily transit rider, Jack has spent years advocating for a more reliable and sustainable RTD. Through his engagement with Greater Denver Transit and directly lobbying the RTD Board, he helped push for greater public transportation service for major events like sports games and mitigated the number of new diesel buses purchased.
If elected, Jack will champion the transition to a zero emission fleet, prioritize fast and efficient public transit, and fund transit access for citizens in vital and densely populated districts.
“The effects of climate change are real: we've seen warmer, shorter, and drier winters, and the Marshall Fire destroyed over a thousand homes in our community. Now is the time for action. On the RTD Board, I'll work to grow public transportation and ridership in our region, giving our community real alternatives to driving, and push for clean transit technologies like electric buses.”
