Policy
Ready to turn your passion for climate policy into action?
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research on climate policies at the local level.
Collaborate with our team to identify opportunities for impactful climate initiatives.
Track current and future environmental policies and trends with detailed notes and assessment.
Analyze and synthesize data into policy memos, executive summaries, and similar.
Produce other research and project deliverables as needed.
Provide public comment on climate policies to local elected bodies.
Perform community outreach and mobilize residents to support initiatives in their locations.
Present work progress at weekly team meetings and other ROC meetings.
Requirements:
Current enrollment in an undergraduate program or graduate program (or recent graduate) with an emphasis in public policy, environmental science, economics, or a related field. Highly motivated high school juniors and seniors may also be considered.
Proficiency in Google Workspace or similar software system.
Ability to self-organize time and project deadlines.
Strong research and writing skills
Experience working in a remote setting preferred but not required.

Social Media
Ready to make a difference through the power of social media?
Create engaging content for our social media platforms, including Instagram, Bluesky, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Implement social media strategies to raise awareness about climate issues and our initiatives.
Engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages.
Monitor social media analytics and help optimize content for better reach and impact.
Requirements:
Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program (or recent graduate) in marketing, communications, videography, english, or a related field.
Ability to self-organize time and project deadlines.
Video creation experience, video editing experience or prior social media content creation experience is a plus.
Proficiency in a content creation tool (Canva, Adobe, CapCut, etc) is preferred, but not required.
Experience working in a remote setting is preferred, but not required.

Electoral Campaign Support
Ready to be a force for change in local climate campaigns?
Assist in candidate recruitment and outreach efforts.
Support campaign logistics, event planning, and voter engagement initiatives.
Collaborate with the team to develop campaign materials and resources.
Engage with campaign databases and communications.
Work in a collaborative team setting.
