Dr. Flojaune Cofer is a nationally trusted public health professional, a seasoned California policy expert, and a consistent local advocate running to serve on the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. Run On Climate proudly endorsed Dr. Flo's campaign for Mayor of Sacramento in 2024. After losing by only 1.02%, she continued organizing for local climate policies and stayed engaged with her community.
She's served her community in many capacities: Senior Director of Policy for Public Health Advocate, member of the Sacramento Mayor’s Climate Change Commission, member of the City’s Active Transportation Commission, just to name a few! If elected, Dr. Flo will support small businesses and union jobs by rapidly transitioning to clean energy and preparing the County for natural disasters.
