“For nearly a decade I have worked to address the climate crisis by advocating for climate justice policies at the local, state, and federal level. If elected I will use my knowledge, connection to information and policy, and my experience in this field to raise the bar in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and modeling sustainability practices for our residents and other municipalities. I will use my expertise to make environmentally responsible choices that save the city money and ensure that the city and the infrastructure that supports it are able to withstand the worst impacts of climate change, like the stronger storms and bigger temperature fluctuations we are already seeing.”
